“Deep” Thoughts

I believe in evolution but there are a few problems I have with it. One of the problems I have is that if we are descendants of monkeys, why would we loose our tail? I can’t think of too many reasons why you wouldn’t want one. I mean you could grab shit with it and everything. Bringing in the groceries would be easier. If you went into the woods you could swing from tree to tree using this wonderful apendage. If you worked at McDonald’s you could flip hamburgers and make new french fries at the same time. One way I could see how having a tail would be a problem for early man is if he was running from a sabertooth tiger, the tiger might be able to grab him by bitting his tail as it trailed behind him.Then again the guy could punch him in the nose with his tail, or whip him with it like a wet towel. I know what you are thinking, “If humans had tails we would look weird!”, but we wouldn’t. If you had only seen humans with tails all your life it wouldn seem weird if you saw someone without a tail. Youmight see war veterans who had had their tails blown off in the war and they would look odd.
